ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS Words cannot express my sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who have supported, assisted and encouraged me in bringing me to this special day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has had a part in leading me to this grace filled, sacramental moment, to offer Mass as a Priest of Jesus Christ. Although it is not possible to acknowledge my appreciation in this booklet, some words of thanks are necessary: first and foremost, I give praise and thanksgiving to Almighty God for all the blessings He has bestowed upon me throughout my life, but most of all for calling me to be a Priest of His Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ; to my parents, Gerard (who joins this Liturgy here with the heavenly liturgy) and my mother Dolores, present in this Church today. Thank you for all the love and support you have given me since my childhood. Your unconditional love for Christ and His Church has been influential in bringing me to this day; to my sisters, Loretta and Maryanne, my brother Patrick, my sister in-law, Laureen and my brother in-law, Tom, who all in their unique and individual ways have helped me in attaining my goal and to my niece, Megan, who in her quiet and unassuming way has been an inspiration to me as well as my aunts, uncles and cousins for all their prayers, interest and encouragement; to my grandparents, Theodore and Edna Dillon and John and Margaret Connolly for their prayers and intercessions for me in heaven; to my Pastoral Year Supervisor, Rev. Msgr. James P. Swiader for your time, patience and hospitality during my assignment at St. Kilian; to my brother seminarians, especially those who assisted me in serving this Mass, Andre Bain, Patrick Keating, James Kuroly, Kevin Gildersleeve, and Peter Purpura for your generosity and friendship in all you have done for me today and during my years in the seminary; to my Master of Ceremonies, Michael Gelfant for your time, expertise, generosity, and help in planning this Liturgy and for the gift of your friendship; to my Pastor, Rev. Robert Hayden and his associates, Rev. Bruno Dekrem and Rev. Steven Pietrowski for their encouragement, and support of my vocation, and for their fine priestly example; to Rev. Msgr. Robert Kirwin for his prayers and concern and to Rev. Msgr. James P. Kelly, for his gentle words of wisdom, his priestly advice, generosity and friendship; to Rev. Frank Grieco, Rev. A,P. Gopaul and Rev. James Stachacz for your steadfast support, prayers, encouragement, generosity, and for the best friendships a person could ever have hoped for; to Rev. Peter Vaccari, my Spiritual Director and confidant, for all your wisdom, advice and your priestly example, and Rev. Msgr. Thomas Molloy for your advice, generosity and unwavering support; to Bernard Garret and the Music Ministry of St. Aidan for your time and generosity in sharing your musical talents at this liturgy and to Ms. Clare Schirtzer, Pastoral Associate for her assistance and expertise in the flow of this Mass; to each of you here today, many of whom have traveled great distances, who have so generously shared with me your friendship, prayers and love.
Thank you and God Bless!
