Tip

If you are on another page that is part of our web site and you would like to navigate back to this main web page, just click on the K of C Logo in the top left corner of each council web page.
At the bottom of the web page there are many useful buttons and areas of interest. There are buttons below that will allow you to Bookmark This Page, Print This Page and Set this page as your Homepage if you so desire. There is also a weather report for the New Hyde Park area and you can also get a 10 day forecast for our area. If you would like to search this site for a particular item, issue, name, etc. you can do so by using the search engine included. 
Our council web site is a member of the Knights of Columbus Web Ring. If you would like to browse other Knights of Columbus Council Websites you can do this by using the Web Ring image at the bottom of this page. You can click on 'next' or 'prev' on this image to go to another Council Web Site on the Web Ring.

On many of the council web pages there are images displayed. In most cases if you click on any of these images a new web page will open with information on the image's subject matter. For example, if you click on the image of the Blessed Mother near the top left of this page, you will be taken to a web site that discusses information on the Immaculate Heart of Mary. If you click on the large mosaic image on the right middle of this page you will be taken to the K of C Supreme Council Site for the Columbian Magazine. Click on almost any image and you will be taken to a web site that has information on that subject. If you click on an image and nothing happens then there is no web site link for that image. 

Trick

If you would like to be notified whenever a change is made to this page you can setup this notification by entering your e-mail address in the notification box at the bottom of this page. This notification box also exists on many of the other web pages for our site so if you have a web page of interest you can ask to be notified when that page is modified. When possible I will put in a comment on what has changed for that particular page.
If you would like to refer this Web Site to someone there is a notification box near the bottom of this page. Enter the e-mail of the person you would like to refer our Web Site to and also enter your e-mail address. After you send this message a notification page is displayed indicating that your e-mail was sent. Click the Back button in your Browser to return to this web page.

If you need to get to the bottom of the main web site page you can click on the "bottom of page" link which is to the left of Current News/Announcements. To get back to the top of the web page click on the "top of page" link which is located at the very bottom of the web page.

Web Site Issues

It has been reported that some members using Web TV cannot access the drop down menu at the top of the main web page. If you are having problems with this menu, I have put a small menu to the left of Upcoming Events. This menu will direct you to the other Pages for this web site. Visit the Links Page to visit the other web sites included in the top menu. 

It has been brought to my attention that some members who visit this site do not realize there are other web pages besides this one. If you put your mouse cursor over the blue menu bar near the top of the main web  page then a drop down menu will appear for each category on this menu bar. At the far left is Council 2852 Home Web Pages. From this area you can visit the other web pages for our site. SPAM

Lately there have been e-mail threads among our members on E-Mail SPAM, what it is, what to do about it, etc. At the bottom of this web page you will see an image that says SPAM with a Red Line over it. If you click on this image it will bring you to a web site that discusses all aspects of SPAM. This web site is one of the best sources of information on the SPAM problem.

Identity Theft

This is another problem that can cause major headaches for anyone that has lost a wallet, had Credit Card issues, etc.. Visit this site,  Identity Theft Resource Center, for further information on this issue.

Web Links

Visit the Council web links page for links to many interesting sites. There are links to web sites for Knights of Columbus related sites, Catholic related sites, Technical Site links which include a News Ticker of Current Technology Headlines, Computer information and Digital Camera information, On-Line Newspapers which includes our local papers in New Hyde Park, Floral Park and Garden City, On-Line Magazines, Various Internet Sites such as the one mentioned above for Identity Theft and Government Sites which includes our local governments of New Hyde Park and Floral Park and other government sites such as Medicare, where you search for the best prices on prescriptions in our area, based on your Health Plans and what you are enrolled in such as Medicare and Medicaid. Web Pages of Interest

Some Council Web Pages of interest, Council Info contains information on how this council began, directions to our Council Hall, Weather in our area, access to Council computer wallpaper and screensavers and other miscellaneous items, including the ability to search our site for information, translate words/phrases to various languages and even view our web site in the language of your choice. Go to the bottom of this page, you will see an image, with a fish, that you can click on to change the language of this page. Membership is a page you can reference to potential membership candidates. This page contains membership links and information on our web site and K of C Supreme Web Site. K of C Information is a web page that contains information on our emblems, mottos and Good of the Order. Scan the blue menu bar at the top of this page for more Council and Web Site links of interest. Move your mouse over the menu bar to see these web site links.
