Benefits of the New System:

Ability to e-mail photos to someone or yourself using e-cards.

Ability to view a gallery of photos at one time, larger individual picture views or an on-demand slideshow of pictures from an event.

Ability to search for pictures by keywords, such as Christmas, to view any picture related to Christmas.  

Create your own picture album on-line, upload pictures to that album and share the pictures with other members.

Have a 'Favorites' album for your User Id. If you view a picture that you would like to keep track of you will be able to put that picture into your individual 'Favorites' folder.

Have access to every Council Activity Photo from one Web Page. I have created a separate Photo Gallery for each Council Event to make viewing easier. All pictures from the old Photo System have been migrated to the new Photo Web Site.

Rules:

To use these new functions you will need to register yourself on this site. You will need to create a User Id and a password. Once you register you can e-mail, search and all of the other functions.

If you do not wish to register for this site you will be able to 'view only' the photos on this site.

If you upload pictures to the site, and you would like those pictures included in a gallery that exists or in a new gallery for all of the council to view, just send me an e-mail at bennis@optonline.net  Include the name of the Album Folder where the picture was uploaded to, and the names(s) of the pictures. Examples: If you attend an event that is not on this site and you have pictures you would like other members to view them, If you have pictures from an event, that event exists on the site, but you would like to add pictures to that gallery, or if you have pictures of events from before 2003 and would like them included on this site.

At the moment there is plenty of disk space for the pictures. In the event disk space gets low I will inform you of that, put some pictures offline and you can e-mail if you need access to any pictures I put offline.
