NEW FOR 2007

Knights of Columbus Council #2852 is pleased to announce the addition of a PROGRESSIVE EARLY BIRD game starting in January 2007. Because we are required by New York State Bingo law to play no more than 2 early bird or “split pot” games per session, the current Mid Bird game will be replaced by the new PROGRESSIVE EARLY BIRD game. A three game sheet will be priced at $2 each.

•   75% of the monies collected will be paid if a Full Card Bingo is reached within 48 numbers and 25% will be retained by the “house”.

•  If there is no winner within the 48 numbers called, 50% of the monies collected will be awarded as a Consolation Prize, 25% will be carried over to the next weeks PROGRESSIVE EARLY BIRD game and 25% will be retained by the “house”.

•  During the next weeks session (and each subsequent session in which a PROGRESSIVE EARLY BIRD PRIZE is not awarded) the number of calls required to obtain a Full Card Bingo will be increased by one (1), and the PROGRESSIVE EARLY

BIRD game pool will be carried- over and be available for adding to the 75% of sales during each of those sessions

•  When the PROGRESSIVE EARLY BIRD PRIZE is awarded in its entirety, the number of calls needed to obtain a Full Card Bingo will revert back to 48 for the next weeks Bingo session and the prize monies will revert back to zero

Example:

$200 worth of PROGRESSIVE EARLY BIRD sheets are sold for the first session and the specified number of calls is 48 or fewer for obtaining a Full Card Bingo

A player gets a Full Card Bingo within 48 numbers and he or she is awarded $150 (75% of the sales), and the “house” retains $50 (25% of the sales). For the next weeks session, the number of calls remain at 48, since there was a winner during last weeks session.

For the next weeks session $300 worth of PROGRESSIVE EARLY BIRD sheets. are sold but there is no Full Card Bingo winner within the 48 numbers called. We will announce that the first player to obtain a Full Card Bingo will receive a Consolation Prize of $150 (50% of the sales for that session), 25% ($75) will be carried over to next weeks PROGRESSIVE EARLY BIRD game. The remaining 25% will be retained by the “house”.

For the next occasion the number of calls required to obtain a Full Card Bingo is increased by one and the game as described above is played. The number of calls required to obtain a Full Card Bingo for that session will be announced prior to the start of the game.
